The Power of Intention for Personal Growth

Hey everyone, welcome back to the Brain Soul Success Show! I want to dive into something that has been a massive game-changer in my life and businesses—the power of intention. ✨

I get asked a lot about how I’ve been able to create successful businesses, from running my Albuquerque Natural Health Center to transitioning online and founding Brain Soul Success. People are curious about how I’ve stayed consistent and how I keep pushing forward. The truth is, it all boils down to intention, consistency, and persistence.

So, What is Intention?

Intentions are more than just goals—they are clear, focused desires that direct your energy toward what you truly want. It’s about consciously setting your sights on what you’re aiming to achieve, be it in your personal life or your business. And the most important part? You have to hold on to that intention fiercely, but also allow space for the universe (or God, whatever you believe) to work its magic. I know that sounds a little abstract, but stick with me.

My Journey with Intention

When I started, I knew nothing about running a business. I was a teacher! But I had a strong intention that I wanted to learn, to grow, and to make an impact. One of my earliest intentions was to have my own health store where I could just go to the shelf and grab all the vitamins and supplements that I knew would keep me healthy. Self-care was huge for me—still is. This intention eventually turned into the creation of my Albuquerque Natural Health Center, where I helped so many people.

Then I set an even bigger intention: to change 1 million brains by 2020. It sounded like a massive goal at the time, but we did it! I taught my brain soul system to so many people, who then went on to help their families and communities. Like a ripple effect, that intention spread further than I could have ever imagined. By 2020, we had touched 1 million lives, and I immediately set a new goal: 10 million brains by 2025.

The lesson? Once you achieve one goal, it’s time to up the ante and set a new intention.

The Power of Intention

So, here’s what I want you to take from this episode: the power of intention is real, but it’s not just about writing down what you want. You have to hold that intention in your energy field. Write down your intentions or goals—whether it’s getting five new clients or launching a new program—and hold it with focus. At the same time, let go and trust the process. It’s about holding the intention while not gripping onto it too tightly. You want to keep your energy open and trusting.

Consistency is Key

The second pillar to success? Consistency. Whatever you’re doing—whether it’s building a business, working on your health, or even just trying to improve your mindset—consistency is crucial. I’ve been hosting events consistently since 2016, and I’ve had the same group programs running since 2003. Yep, you heard that right! Whether it’s my Brain Soul Leap, Beautiful, Amazing You, or Awakening Abundance programs, I’ve been consistent in showing up for my clients every single year.

That’s how you build momentum and trust. You don’t just set the intention and then sit back—you have to show up for yourself, your clients, your health, your life.

Persistence

Now, this ties into persistence. Persistence is what keeps you moving forward, even when things get tough. If you’re only halfway in, you’re not going to reach your goals. If you want to be a marathon runner, you don’t just train once a week, right? Persistence means putting in the effort every day, even when you don’t feel like it.

The B.R.A.I.N System™

So, when I talk about success and growth, it’s not just about working harder—it’s about aligning your brain, your body, and your soul. That’s why I created the B.R.A.I.N System™, which stands for:

  • B: Body (take care of your physical health)
  • R: Release (let go of mental and emotional baggage)
  • A: Align (connect with spirit or your higher purpose)
  • I: Integrate (bring your brain and soul together)
  • N: New Program (install new patterns and beliefs for success)

Your brain is like a bio-computer, and just like you upgrade software on your devices, you have to reprogram your brain for success. This involves clearing out old limiting beliefs and installing new, empowering ones. For example, you might have an ancestral pattern of poverty holding you back, and once you clear that, you’ll find wealth and success flowing into your life more easily.

Your Next Steps

So, if you’re ready to grow—whether personally, professionally, or both—I challenge you to start with the power of intention. What do you want to achieve in the next 90 days? What’s that one thing you’ve been holding back on? Write it down, hold that intention, and start taking action today.

As always, thanks for tuning in, and remember: follow your heart, but take your brain with you!
