Red Tailed Hawk
Well, this must be the year of animal totems for me. First a “reindeer” really an elk appeared in the road on my way home one night at Christmas time. Monday I was sitting in my home office with a friend “and a red tailed hawk appeared in the backyard tree only eight feet from where we were sitting. Wow! And the meaning… I looked it up.
The Red-tailed Hawk ” is seen as a strong symbol of visionaries and spiritual messengers. Because the hawk is able to soar high above the earth, into the heavens if you will, it has a perspective of the “bigger picture,” which we cannot experience with our “feet on the ground. Optimism is one of your strongest virtues. You love to share your visions of a better and brighter future.
