Brain Messages

Brain Messages: Conscious and Subconscious

Happy Holidays! The days are flying by and you can feel the hustle and bustle of Christmas. I was leaving Target today and heard a mom say to her kids.. “We have to go now, no time for that. We are getting behind. ” My brain message was, ” Too bad we are so aware of time and we are sending the message to our children that the clock dictates our lives.” My brain shifted to another current pet peeve… the cell phone addiction. “What happened to the days when we gathered to have a conversation in person, not by text messaging?” So, my conscious brain was engaged..I was having a conversation with myself and analyzing.

Did you know that your subconscious mind is 88% of your brain and your conscious mind is only 12%. Now in the same example above if I intuited an emotion mom was experiencing (overwhelm) and felt disappointed for the family then I am using my subconscious mind.

Your conscious mind:

  • analyzes
  • thinks and plans
  • short term memory

Your Subconscious Mind:

  • long term memory
  • emotions and feelings
  • habits, relationship patterns, addictions
  • involuntary body functions
  • creativity
  • developmental stages
  • spiritual connection
  • intuition

Focus on developing the subconscious mind and live a life of richness and joy!

Need help with this? I develop programs that tap into the subconscious and teach you how to be clear and allow your gifts to shine. New in 2015 Success Coaching and VIP days. More coming on this.

Earl Nightingale said, ” Whatever we plant in our subconscious mind and nourish with repetition and emotion will one day become reality.”

This is why affirmations with emotion and actions work. Just reading something daily won’t work as well. Jump rope while saying your affirmations, add emotion and passion, sing your favorite affirmations aloud, walk and say them at a fast pace. Have fun!

Here is a great list to begin with.

  • I am vibrant and healthy.
  • I relax into the flow of life.
  • I am free. I take charge of my own life.
  • I love and accept myself.
  • I am a free thinker. I am at peace in my own mind.
  • I listen with love and joyously hear the good and the unpleasant.
  • I see with loving eyes.
  • I eat fresh and raw foods daily.
  • I release the past struggles. Life is sweet and so am I.
  • I am manifesting an abundant, joyous life.
  • I take in the new and easily assimilate it.
  • I live life through the open space in my heart.
  • I am balanced in all the changes of cycles and I bless my body with love.
  • I am manifesting like-minded clients to my business.
  • My hormones, enzymes, and immune system work perfectly.
  • I have compassion for others and for myself.
  • I get attention in positive ways.
  • I forgive all who have hurt me.
  • I am confident in my decisions.

There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other.” Douglas Everett
